In a few words, Look 'n' Stop is an average personal firewall software. With a firewall installed, you can filter the network traffic (Internet and LAN), specifying what ports and/or programs could have access to the Internet.
First, when installing it, the default installation directory does not take care of the Windows language, it always suggests "Program Files" as default.
Next, immediatly after finishing the installation, I just lost my Internet connection, and a lot of sounds were played repeatedly...
"What the hell...?" I thought. The worst thing was, that the program asked me to reboot the computer immediately after that. "Are you nuts?? I should know what's going on first!"
A few minutes later, and a lot of clicks later too, my Internet connection was up again. It took me a while to understand the firewall options and get the Internet connection back to work again: the easiest way was to uncheck the "Internet Filtering Enabled" option under the corresponding tab.
At first sight, the program is not exactly an example of design and usability, but the interface is simple and quite understandable. The program seems to have the minimum and necessary options to have a decent traffic filtering. Of course, you have to know what you're doing!
